The Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association was formed as a way to protect the breed, record the parentage, preserve the history, and promote the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse as a breed in North America. Our goals include educating the public on the colorful history and versatility of the breed, promoting responsible, quality breeding programs in North America and encouraging the use of the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse as riding, driving, sport, family and utility horses.

The GCDHA is committed to the preservation, improvement and promotion of the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse as a breed and will look forward to sponsoring exhibitions, inspections and shows.
